About us
Robinsons was founded in 1992 by Joseph Robinson and Richard Brattle. Working from a small office in Clerkenwell Green, the firm's goal was to provide expert accounting and financial consultancy to small to medium-sized organisations, offering a more personal service than larger accountancy firms, while retaining the highest standards of expertise and knowledge.
As a small business starting in the middle of a recession, Joseph and Richard recognised the values and concerns of SMEs, and this knowledge saw them rapidly increase their client base from just four, to hundreds. This growth meant that the company needed more space, and Robinsons moved to Islington in 1997, before settling in their current offices in Old Street in 1999.
Now with over 500 corporate and over 800 personal clients, Robinsons is a highly respected and established accountancy firm, with a small team of central London staff, and an additional back office. The company retains its original commitment to fixed and transparent fees and guaranteed turnaround times, while offering a personal, expert service.
